Pinot Noir
Vineyard Designation
Nobles Vineyard
Appellation
Fort Ross-Seaview, Sonoma County
Coastal Pinot Noir from a remote, stunning vineyard owned by the Nobles Family. Located near the historic Fort Ross, an early Russian coastal settlement dating from 1812, the vineyard lies on the interior of the second ridge from the Pacific Ocean. Marine sedimentary soils.
The flavors are classic Nobles Old Vine; black cherry and blackberry fruits entwined with vanilla, cedar, red tea, and warm oak notes. Further complexities of violet, candied orange peel, and graphite in the nose. Round in the mouth with fine, well textured tannins. Youthful now, best 2023–2033. Available to Wine Club members only.
