Our Winemakers
Our
winemakers are Massimo and Mario Monticelli, both California
natives and fourth generation winemakers. They are graduates
of UC Davis in Enology and Viticulture. Massimo's background
making Cabernet for Silver Oak brings both a passion for the
grape, and a hands-on knowledge producing some of the most
in-demand Cabernet made in the state. Mario's experience working
with Phillipe Melke creating a number of the best boutique
wines in California, including Vineyard 29, Constant, Caldwell,
et al, brings both classic Bordeaux sensibility and an artisan
feel to our wines.
