SHRINERS WINESTOMP 2007 MALBEC, SONOMA VALLEY

In 2007, B Wise Vineyards partnered with the Shriners International organization member Paul Shelton to produce a Malbec from our Estate property in Sonoma. All the proceeds of the wine sales will be given to the charity for the benefit of the Moyie Shrine Club.

In the spirit of fun and brotherly fellowship, the wine is called WINESTOMP because it was made the old-fashioned way, foot-stomped by bikini-clad models. (Ok, not quite 100% old fashioned, but ½ way there) The first bottle was auctioned at the Shriners member fund-raising event.

Tasting Notes

Black Friar plum and bing-cherry aromas burst on the fruit-filled nose. Interlaced aromas of brambly earth, mineral, and sweet vanilla oak compliment the lush fruit. In the mouth warm chocolaty tannins caress with hints of fresh raspberry, violet and anise. Soft and delicious now and will age well for a few years.
